Crackle

Crackle is a classic chaotic uGen from SuperCollider (https://supercollider.github.io/). It uses a deterministic, seeded equation to create hisses, pops, and other pleasant, vinyl-like noises. In addition to the original algorithm, this includes the "Broken" mode introduced in Michael Hetrick's Euro Reakt collection for Reaktor 6. This "Broken" mode creates intense trapped-buffer stutter effects and self-oscillations at high Chaos settings, leading to digital squeals and modem noises.
