Voltage Modular Core + Electro Drums is a powerhouse collection of modular madness including 120 modules and over 600 presets. All of the fundamental tools of modular synthesis are included - a huge variety of oscillators, filters, envelope generators, amplifiers, arpeggiators, sequencers, mixers - plus powerful effects, samplers, a large suite of polyphonic modules, the room-rattling vintage oscillator and filter, our drum sequencer, a huge collection of electronic drum and percussion modules, and the acclaimed Super Oscillator, Super LFO, and Super Envelope Generator modules. In short, it's modular mayhem, and a ton of fun. The Electro Drums collection features classic electronic drum sound modules plus the full featured, eight-channel Drum Trigger Sequencer.
A stunning recreation of the much-loved Juno poly synths of the 80's, DCO-106 is both easy to understand and powerful to explore, creating a massive array of sonic landscapes, cutting lead sounds, warm and hazy pads, punchy synthetic electro drums, and far more.
CA2600 is a powerful, self-contained duophonic synthesizer inspired by the groundbreaking ARP 2600 synthesizer. With its huge sound, unique user interface, and thoughtful bonus features, CA2600 delivers the original 2600 experience like no other virtual instrument.
The Surrealistic MG-1 Plus Synthesizer is a super authentic recreation of the fun and funky Moog MG-1 synthesizer sold in Radio Shack stores in 80s. Surrealistic MG-1 Plus delivers fat analog tone in spades along with a unique polyphonic oscillator section, "bell tone" ring modulation, and a number of improvements that tremendously expand its capabilities.
Polymode is inspired by the groundbreaking Moog Polymoog synthesizer. One of the world’s first polyphonic synthesizers, its unique multiple parallel filter implementation and mod routings give it a sound like no other synth. With a streamlined user interface and immense modulation capabilities, Polymode sets a new standard for animated, sonically evolving string, pad, and choral tones.
The Eight Voice polyphonic synthesizer meticulously emulates the immense sound of the Oberheim Eight Voice, one of the world’s rarest and most desirable vintage instruments. Predating modern microprocessor control, its eight independent dual-oscillator voice modules could be challenging to program. Cherry Audio Eight Voice’s unique Voice Link controls allow simple and powerful grouping of voice module controls, eliminating individually setting each module's controls when homogenous poly sounds are desired. Focus buttons allow instant enlargement of any section of the user interface, making sound programming a breeze, and massively flexible keyboard assign modes enable endless mono and poly keyboard zoning and layering options.
PS-20 is an ultra-realistic, polyphonic, hot-rodded tribute to Korg's renowned MS-20. First and foremost, PS-20's dual highpass/lowpass filters super accurately recreate the MS-20's famous raunchy sound in all of its squelchy, screaming glory. Every part of the instrument has been "souped up" with killer features, including 16-note polyphony, a unique three-layer, eight-step sequencer with flexible CV outs, integrated effects, and a simplified and improved patch panel section for modular-synth flexibility.
Memorymode is based upon the Memorymoog, one of the very best-sounding polyphonic programmable analog synthesizers of the 80s and was expertly modeled upon a vintage instrument originally owned by jazz legend Chick Corea. It expands upon the original without compromising any of the sound or functionality that made it great, and does away with the reliability, maintenance, and tuning issues of the original. The user interface has been streamlined and simplified, updating the original instrument’s numeric-keypad-and-command-numbers with fast, simple-to-use pop-up menus and an improved value display window.
Mercury-4 is a detailed emulation of one of the best-sounding and quirkiest polyphonic synthesizers of the late 1970's, the Roland Jupiter-4. It’s the rarest and most sonically unique of the fabled Jupiter series, and we’ve gone to great lengths to recreate the subtle (and not-so-subtle) nuance and character of this beloved classic. Every aspect of Mercury-4 has been expertly modeled upon a vintage Jupiter-4 originally owned by Greg Hawkes of the legendary 80’s new wave band The Cars. Cherry Audio’s Mercury-4 improves upon the original’s design by offering 16-voice polyphony, infinite patch storage, velocity sensitivity, MPE support, and much more. We’ve even paired it with a fantastic model of the classic Roland Space Echo tape delay!
The Cherry Audio Quadra is a super-accurate and immensely improved emulation of the ARP Quadra synthesizer, reproduced for the first time as a virtual instrument. We’ve addressed the original Quadra’s shortcomings and wildly expanded it for an experience that blows away the real thing in every conceivable way. Each of its four sections is independently assignable to any region of the keyboard for endless splitting and layering flexibility. The awkward patch storage has been replaced with Cherry Audio’s extensive, unlimited patch browsing system. The overall sound quality has been improved for a richer and fatter tone. And not only did we make a killer emulation of the aforementioned onboard phaser effect, we added a stereo chorus/flanger, a syncable echo, and studio-quality reverb - all individually routable for unprecedented effects flexibility.

A total feast for retro synth enthusiasts
Even though I already had most of the synths in this set, the value in this pack was too good to pass up. The PS-20 is simply stunning in its quirkiness. The Eight Voice is lush and luxurious. Voltage Modular is my go-to happy place. I'd pay the price of this pack for those three products alone, and then some. Add in the new Quatro and Mercury and there is no excuse not to grab this set.
