Five methods of stereo saturation generate harmonics and reshape waves, following cues from traditional wavefolding but following trigonometric approaches. Each method will bend, crunch, and mutate signals with some approaches being subtle enough for just making audio sound more present and other approaches tearing the source apart. In addition to using the device for audio, you can remap CV values too, creating complex movements from simpler signals.
Just turn the TYPE dial across the spectrum, from noisier on the left to less so on the right, or automate dynamic changes with CV. Use the PUSH control to lean into the saturation or back off (counter-clockwise). Then, dial the MIX knob back to blend dry signal for a good balance. Continue turning the mix knob counter-clockwise past 12:00 to start blending inverted signal for a spectrum of (partial) phase-canceling tones. These other controls are also modulatable too, and you'll find neighboring gold dials to bias (to add/subtract voltage and shift the baseline position) the modulation. Envelopes at the MIX control are a great way to have sounds articulate their way into and out of saturation.
The saturation tones have behaviors favorable to those who aren’t always big fans of distortions. With mindful adjustment of the push and mix dials, this unit is capable of subtlety as well as bombardment.
