Crystalline Chorus

is a four-voice Chorus effect that looks quite average on the outside, but internally uses a diverse assortment of technical gadgets - bandpass filtering being among them - in order to separate the four voices as much as possible. The output always being stereo, it can be used with a stereo or a mono input.

A Chorus effect aims at making a single instrument appear as if several instruments of the same kind were playing. This is achieved by adding delayed and pitch-modulated copies to the original signal, whereby the pitch-modulation is controlled by a sine-shaped low-frequency oscillator. With the Depth parameter you can control the amount of pitch modulation, the Rate parameter sets the speed of the low-frequency oscillator and the Feedback parameter controls how much of the processed signal is fed back into the effect.
