DePitcher
is intended to simulate inaccurately tuned voices of ancient analog synthesizers and it’s long time frequency drifting as a result of thermal influences.
Cabling is very simple:
- Connect a pair of mono or poly cables to pitch and gate inputs
- Connect mono and/or poly cables to your sound module(s)
- That's it!
Features:
- Controlling 1 to 8 voices in mono, poly or unison mode
- Controllable by monophonic or polyphonic pitch/gate signals
- Managing different numbers of polyphony and synthesizer voices
- Using both monophonic and polyphonic outputs at same time
- Voice assignment modes either “walk” or “smart”
- Special processing of lowest notes allow to control an additional bass synthesizer
- Fixed or randomized detune up to +/- 100 cent (equally distributed to all voices)
- Special LEGATO management
- Retriggering gate while playing legato or as result of pitch changes
- Creating legato though Voltage MULTI is active
- Initial and final main detune and keyboard rate failure
- Drifting time interval 1 to 9999 seconds
- Start, restart and finish controllable by push buttons and CV
- Extra GATE button helps adjusting voice parameters
- Extra mono outputs per voice allow more voices than current polyphony would do (Voltage poly cables process only as many data channels as polyphony is set)
