Inspired by the Casio CZ-line of Phase Distortion synths introduced in 1984, this module recreates the Line Mixer of those synths. Send one Oscillator to Line 1, and another to Line 2, to recreate the signal path of the original CZ synthesizers. This modules includes a built in mixer, Ring Modulation, and conversion from Poly to Stereo Mono Outputs.
Inputs, Outputs and Controls
2x Audio In (POLY) - 2 Audio Inputs, to be connected to the Cosmos PD Oscillator Outputs.
2x Volume - Control the Volume Mix
Line Select - Select where you wish to hear just Line 1, just Line 2, or a mixture of both Line 1 and Line 2.
Ring Modulation - Turns on Ring Modulation between Line 1 and Line 2 - great for those CZ Bell-like sounds.
Stereo Spread - At full Anti-Clockwise or full Clockwise, alternate voices will pan to either side. At 0%, the sounds will be essentially mono. Only works through the Left/Right Outputs.
Poly Out - Keep the signal in Poly for further processing with Poly Modules.
Left/Right Out - Mono outputs.
