Enjoy Turing Machines? Loved the DMT Strict Machine? Well, how about 8 of them in a single module? With a fancy display? Try The Ocho!

The Ocho is 8 random Analog Sequencers that you can't directly program, but you can use the controls to influence what comes out! Based on 8x 16-step Shift Register, with a CV Controllable LOCK function that determines the likelihood of the last step looping back to the beginning. From this, the module generates 8 CV outputs, great for controlling... well, anything!

Trig Inputs - Send a Gate/Trigger signal here to clock the Shift Registers. As denoted by the arrows, these are cascading inputs so plugging a cable into the first input will trigger everything to the right of it. Plug another cable into input 5, for example, and registers 5 - 8 will be triggered by this cable.

Gain - Attenuation of each shift register output.

Bi/Uni-polar Modes - In BI mode, the shift register will output -5 to +5 volts. In UNI mode, it will output 0v to +5v.

Lock - Individually adjusts the LOCK value for each shift register, based on the MASTER LOCK control (see below).

Outputs - Shift register outputs.

Steps - Number of steps in the Shift Register. Can be CV-controlled.

Master Lock - Whenever the shift register is triggered, each step is shifted across by one. The LOCK function determines the likelihood of the last value being put back to the start, or replaced with a new random value. This can be CV-Controlled, and each Shift Register can be adjusted individually by the individual LOCK controls.
