F_PRISMOSC — Multi-Layer Chaotic Oscillator

Overview:
F_PRISMOSC is a 3-layer stereo oscillator that combines traditional waveforms, wavefolding, resonators, and chaotic modulation into a unique sound engine. Ideal for deep, expressive, and experimental tones.

Pitch Input:
pitchInput – Standard 1V/oct pitch control input.
transposeKnob – Transposes pitch ±5V.
transposeCV – Modulation input for pitch transpose.
transposeCVGain – Input gain for transpose CV.

Width & Tuning:
widthKnob – Controls pitch spread of oscillator layers (0–50 semitones).
widthCV – CV input to modulate spread.
widthCVGain – Gain for width modulation input.

Emotion / Chaos:
emotionKnob – Adds chaotic modulation to oscillator pitch and movement.
emotionCV – CV input to modulate emotion/chaos.
emotionCVGain – Gain control for emotion modulation.

Fold / Timbre:
foldKnob – Adjusts wavefolding depth (0–1.7).
foldCV – Modulation input for wavefolding.
foldCVGain – Input gain for fold CV.

Resonance:
resoKnob – Resonance intensity for internal resonator filter banks.
resoCV – Resonance modulation input.
resoCVGain – Gain for reso CV input.

Velocity Modulation:
(Optional CV Input) – Allows modulation of fold depth using external velocity CV.

Stereo Output:
stereoWidthKnob – Controls stereo width from -1 (reversed) to +1 (wide).
audioLeft – Left channel output. Outputs mono if only this is connected.
audioRight – Right channel output.

Envelope Generator:
useEnvelope – Toggle to activate the internal ADSR envelope.
gateInput – Trigger input for the envelope (gate signal).
attackKnob – Attack time (0.01–50 sec).
decayKnob – Decay time (0.01–50 sec).
sustainKnob – Sustain level (0.0–1.0).
releaseKnob – Release time (0.01–50 sec).

Volume:
volumeKnob – Final output level (0–5V).

Sound Characteristics:
– 3 oscillator layers with independent pitch spread.
– Folded and filtered waveforms for rich timbres.
– Internal resonator bank reacts to pitch and Q.
– Chaotic modulator adds instability and variation.
– Wide stereo imaging with pan per oscillator layer.

Tips:
– Use low width and high emotion for unstable unisons.
– Enable envelope for standalone synth voices.
– Negative stereo width can reverse L/R layer positions.
– Use fold modulation for dynamic timbral changes.
