F_SHIFTR – Stereo Frequency Shifter (Hilbert)

F_SHIFTR is a stereo frequency shifter that moves every component in the spectrum up or down by a fixed frequency amount, without preserving harmonic relationships. The module uses a FIR Hilbert transformer with selectable length (Character) and an IQ mixer driven by a quadrature oscillator. All parameters have CV inputs with dedicated scaling controls.

Output Gain	Adjusts the final output level after all processing. Range: −12 dB (attenuation) to +12 dB (boost), with 0 dB as unity gain. Useful for matching levels when blending with other modules or for adding extra drive after heavy processing.

Feedback	Feedback amount
Feedback Time	Short delay in feedback path (0–50 ms)

MOD Inputs

Each MOD input has its own Scale knob, setting sensitivity in units/Volt. CV is summed with the main control knob value.

Tips

Subtle stereo movement: Shift 1–3 Hz, Spread 60°, Link off
Metallic drones: Shift 300 Hz, Morph 0, Dirty, Fb 15%, FbT 15 ms
Leslie-like effect: Shift 0.8 Hz, Morph 1, Clean, Spread 90°, LFO modulating Shift
Use Dirty (63 taps) for gritty “analog” shifting, Clean (129 taps) for hi-fi precision
Extreme Spread (> 120°) can cause mono phase cancellation – check mono compatibility
