F_SWITCH is a utility to, well just switch, signal coming in up to 5 inputs, to send out to one output. Especially when using Variations, you have to keep cables connected in all used Variations. In such a case F_SWITCH can help to even when all cables for different options are connected, you can still select which input to use... So if in Variation1 you use the keyboard as an input for an oscillator, while in Variation2 you want tuse the ouput of a sequencer to drive that same oscillator, you connect both cables to F_SWITCH, say in 1 and 2... In Var1 set SWITCH 1 to on and in Var2 set SWITCH 2 to on..

So to set multiple combinations F_SWITCH has 4 layers where you can decide OUTputs receiiving from 1 of 5 input-channels by using their respective Toggle-switches. Every layer also has a SELect input that receives signal from 0 to 4, so you even use an LFO, or a SEQuencer or maybe even a RANDOM signal to decide what input to use.
