F_VARSEL

F_VARsel is a utility module to switch between VARIATIONS. For live setups you could create different Variations that work as part of a larger arrangement. Think of different sequences, different lead sound settings and effects or percussion. It might be nice if you could then switch to another part of this arrangement by switching to say Variation3 (chorus) after having stayed in Intro2 for 2 repetitions. F_VARsel can do exactly that! F_VARsel needs a gate for that purpose - you can set how many GATES to wait before switching to the next VARIATION. The module only expects a GATE cable connected to the GATE port. It recognizes the VARIATION that you are currently in and has a slider over the NEXT VARIATION text to set where you want to go. The '#GATES TO WAIT' counter also has a slider to set the number to wait before jumping. That way you can use a sequencer to automate switching. It will need a proper setup though... You will need to create the different variations and name them properly so you can go through the when you set the NEXT VARIATION. This recognizes how many VARIATIONS are present and also knows the names to simplify the setup. There are buttons available to JUMP straight to the next variation if you want to decide yourself. A RELOAD button will load the current variation again, which will restart running sequencers etc. A RESET button restarts the countdown for the number of gates to wait. A PAUSE button holds the countdown.
