Feedback Noise

FB Noise produces very harsh noise that is generated through internal feedback. It is great for making glitchy sounds, as a source of noise to filter and process, or for adding bite to any patch or texture. It is a real beast, so be careful with your ears and avoid prolonged exposure!

There are 2 knobs, X and Y, that control the main sound parameters sent to the main output. Parameter D affects only the sound going to Out D, and controls the downsampling of the original signal. The two outputs can be combined in stereo for striking results, but there is also a mixed mono output for convenience. The mode switch at the top controls the initial frequency of the feedback system.

This modules is all about finding the sweet spots through its parameter space, so very small changes to X, Y and D can have dramatic effects and change the output considerably. At certain combinations the value of D might also be barely audible as a result of the intentionally introduced aliasing.
