Filtered Noise

This module provides a bank of bandpass filters with fixed frequencies and individual outputs, each with its own level control for balancing the mix, and it is perfect for creating drums and for wind noise type of textures.

There is a noise generator that provides pink and white noise, also with dedicated outputs and level controls. The source switch allows you to route the noise sources to the filters (and the level knobs will also affect the routed signal), or you can instead use the audio input by selecting the center position of the switch. You can also mix the noise sources with the input signal by manually patching those outputs to the input along with another source, such as another noisy source or a low square wave.

The mode switch allows you to choose between 3 different frequency settings for the filters, and the respective labels will update to reflect these values. There is also global resonance control, and a switch to select the slope of all the filters, both of which can be CV controlled.

Try connecting the outputs of the bands to 3 Benard Dual Percussion Envelopes to make a simple but very powerful and flexible drum kit.
