MIDI Quantizer

A simple MIDI quantizer, intended to be used in conjunction with a keyboard to allow real-time snapping of a CV to any chord played on the keyboard. When combined with a sequencer or a clocked LFO, this is a great way to generate procedural accompaniment to a pad or slow evolving sound or equivalent.

It also has the ability to choose between played chords, played chords transposed by an octave in either direction, and any combination thereof. There are also scale and shift knobs to adjust how the input CV maps to the output space.

There is a latch button, so the played chord is remembered when you release the keys.

The module also responds to sustain pedal events, allowing you to latch notes by pressing the sustain pedal.

An output trigger is also provided for any time the output CV changes.

Output CV is in V/Oct and can be plugged straight into the pitch of an oscillator.
