Mini Envelope

This module provides an ADSR envelope generator combined with a VCA in a small package. It has knobs to control the sustain level, and the attack, decay, and release times of the envelope.

There are separate outputs for the envelope and for the built in VCA, which will multiply the envelope by the input signal. This eliminates the need to use a separate VCA, but also gives you the flexibility to do so if you want more control over the envelope's response, or if you want to use the same envelope to control another module. There is also a level knob just above the VCA output jack that allows you to scale the output for convenience, and a button to manually trigger the envelope at the top right.

It is great for adding envelopes to control signals quickly and without using much space, and complements the other Benard mini modules.

This module is part of the collection of Benard mini modules, which aims to provide powerful modules in very small packages for flexibility in designing patches when space is limited, such as when working on a small screen for studio or live performance.

Note: An earlier version of this module used a switch to select between envelope and VCA output. If your patches used the envelope output, you can restore the old behavior by connecting the signal to the Env Out jack instead.
