This module provides a powerful poly LFO in a small package (3HP). It is perfect for when you want to have many independent poly modulators in different places of your patches, without taking much space.
It has 6 waveforms that you can select via toggles: sine, ramp, square, triangle, saw, and sampled noise, and that will apply to all the voices. You can select the rate via the main knob, and choose a rate range between slow, medium and fast (going up to audio range) with the switch on the right side. This will apply to all the voices. Use the CV input to set the different rates for each voice (see below). You can also select the polarity with the switch on the left side.
There is a poly input to control the rate with CV, with its own attenuverter, and a poly reset input to hard sync the oscillator. Send a poly signal with different values for each voice to the CV input (such as the Poly LFNoise, or Sliders to Poly Signal) to set the individual LFO voices to different rates. You can also set the phases individually by sending triggers to the individual voices with a Buttons to Poly Triggers module, or Trigger to Random Poly Voice.
The output has its own level control, which makes it easy to scale the output of the oscillator for different purposes and further helps with keeping things tidy in a small space.
This module is part of the collection of Benard mini modules, which aims to provide powerful modules in very small packages for flexibility in designing patches when space is limited, such as when working on a small screen for studio or live performance.
