PARA is a two-band parametric equalizer built for modular levels. Band 1 sweeps 40 Hz to 12 kHz; band 2 sweeps 200 Hz to 16 kHz, so the bands overlap through the mids and can stack, cross, or work opposite ends of the spectrum. Each band carries ±15 dB of boost or cut, flat at center detent.

The Q switch sets both bands together: wide (0.7) for tone shaping that never sounds like an EQ, narrow (2.5) for surgery — notching a resonance, isolating a partial, carving space. Every frequency and gain has its own CV input, and CV on a frequency turns the band into a tracking filter voice of its own.

Controls and patching

  • FREQ 2 — 200 Hz to 16 kHz, exponential sweep, CV input.
  • GAIN 2 — −15 to +15 dB, flat at center, CV input.
