This module provide a very easy and intuitive way to scale and offset poly signals to change their range. It allows you to map between an input range and an output range, to convert all the voices in a poly signal to the desired range of values for your purpose.

You can set the input range with the knobs on the left side, and the output with the knobs on the right side, and there is also CV control for these ranges, which allows you to continuously change them over time with a CV signal.

Keep in mind that in order for the scaling to work properly, you need to make sure that the range of your input signal actually matches what you have set for your input values. However, you can also misrepresent the ranges to get some extreme scaling, which can be an interesting way to experiment with extreme values, for example when controlling the frequency modulation of an oscillator.

It is recommended that you first set the input values to the correct range of your input using the input knobs, and connect the output to the desired destination. You can then adjust the output range to the desired values, and fine tune them by ear for musical purposes.

As a simple example, if you have the output of a unipolar sequencer going between 0 and 5 V, and want to change it to -3 and + 3 V, you would set the input knobs to 0 for In Low, and 5 for In High, and the outputs to -3 for Out Low and 3 for Out Hi. It's that easy!

-In High - This is the highest value in the range of your input, e.g., 5 for bipolar signals going between -5 and 5.

-In Low - This is the lowest value in the range of your input, e.g., -5 for bipolar signals going between -5 and 5.

-Out High - This is the highest value in the range of your desired output, e.g., 4 if you want bipolar signals going between -3 and 4.

-Out Low - This is the lowest value in the range of your desired output, e.g., -3 if you want bipolar signals going between -3 and 4.

CV Inputs - These inputs allow you to use CV to control the In High, In Low, Out High, and Out Low values respectively. The CV values will be added to the values of the respective knobs, and the results will be updated on the numeric displays. The small knobs next to the jacks act as attenuverters on the inputs.

Poly Toggles - These toggles allow you to select between mono and poly CV Inputs. The respective mono and poly signals will be revealed and activated depending on the state of the respective toggle.

Poly CV Inputs - These poly inputs allow you to use poly CV to control the In High, In Low, Out High, and Out Low values respectively. The CV values will be added to the values of the respective knobs. When using poly signals, the results will NOT be updated on the numeric displays. The display will instead continue to show the value of the respective knob, as that is the only value that is sure to be common to all the voices. The small knobs next to the jacks act as attenuverters on the inputs. Use poly signals when you want to have different mappings for each voice of your poly input signal.
