Poly Mute/Solo

This module allows you to toggle on and off individual voices in a polyphonic module. All the switches are interpolated to avoid pops. The numbered toggles on the left represent the voice numbers, and make the respective voice active when toggled on (green), and muted when off. On the right there are solo switches for each voice. The LEDs in between the toggles indicate whether that voice is on or off (resulting from the combination of that channel's toggle and the solo state of all the voices). There is a master switch that allows you to mute the entire module, and an invert switch that reverses the state of every channel toggle. Notice that the invert switch bypasses the solo settings, so you will only hear the voices that have their main toggle set to off, regardless of the solo states of all the voices. At the bottom there are also buttons to set all the mutes and solos respectively on or off at the same time.

Very useful for quickly accessing individual voices or groups in a poly patch to keep track of what's going on, or for selecting subgroups for musical purposes in performance. Also great for experimenting with additive synthesis using poly modules.
