This module allows you to sample and hold the values of all the voices in a poly signal, all at once, or individually.

You can use a switch to choose the source to be sampled between noise (which will be independent for each voice) and the poly signal connected to the input. You can sample all the voices at once by pushing the trigger button, or sending a positive signal to the mono trigger input (T In). To sample the separate voices individually, use the poly trigger input (Ply T In) to send triggers to the desired voices. You can use the Buttons to Poly Triggers module for this, or a continuous poly signal tha fluctuates between positive and negative, such as the Poly LF Noise, for more unpredictable results.

When the source switch is set to noise (which is the default), the input jack is partially transparent to make this clear and avoid getting unexpected results from sampling an empty input. But you can still connect a poly signal to this jack, and it will become active when the switch is set to input.

This module is great for adding controlled randomness to poly patches. You can also combine it with the Poly Attenuverters to have quick access to multiple mono sample and holds with independent behavior but convenient global control over the triggering and source.
