This module provides 4 independent oscillators, each with separate triangle, square, sawtooth and sine outputs, volt per octave control, and hard sync and frequency modulation inputs. It has a wide range to adjust the frequency, with 12 semitones up and down from the main frequency knob, and 3 octaves above and below the center setting with the octave knob. There is also a toggle that allows you to select the units displayed for the frequency knob tooltip, between semitones and Hertz. This is very useful when you want to set the frequency to a specific value in Hertz rather than in semitones.
It is a convenient and space efficient way to have multiple voices in a patch, and it is also great for crosspatching and experimenting with frequency modulation, as you can easily connect the output of one oscillator to the sync, volt per octave or frequency modulation inputs of another, and create interesting modulation feedback paths that will quickly result in some wild and complex sounds.
