This module routes the input to one of the connected outputs at random every time a trigger is received. You can use it to send a signal to different paths for processing or to affect or trigger different modules at random with the same signal.

The 1x switch prevents the next random choice to select the currently selected output (i.e. no repetition).

The S toggle will smooth the transitions to avoid pops when the signals.

The Alt switch will reveal a jack for an alternate input. The signal connected to that input will be routed to the outputs that are not selected. This can be useful when you want to send a constant CV to the outer outputs, or a default signal. But keep in mind that the jacks are in the same place, so you need to activate the Alt toggle to connect or disconnect the respective jacks.
