This module provides a simple RMS meter for monitoring the level of your audio signals. It takes the square root of the mean square of the input values over a window of time to keep a running average that represents the loudness level of the signal. You can adjust the RMS time (the size of the window over which the averaging is happening) with the knob.
The response of the meters can be set to linear or logarithmic using the switch. You can also edit the text on the white label to add a name for the signal you're tracking. The output on the right simply passes the input signal through for convenience.
