Your creative circular sequencer for complex rhythmic layering and experimentation!

RoundTrig is a triple circular sequencer, offering three simultaneous rhythmic or modulation layers that spin in perfect phase relationship but can each exhibit unique offsets, divisions, and active steps. Each ring divides and shifts the same internal phase into its own circular set of trigger points. This makes RoundTrig ideal for evolving polyrhythms, shifting patterns, or coordinated multi-channel sequencing where all motion shares a single “wheel of time.”

Trigger Display

• Use the WHITE TOGGLE to get a combined view of all sequencers combined
• Use the RED/YELLOW/BLUE TOGGLE to get an individual and editable view of one sequencer
  • Enable or disable steps/triggers by clicking on the points (watch for the highlight to get a visual clue which point is currently targeted)
  • Note: Sequencers can only be edited in their individual view

Main Section

• TEMPO Knob sets the speed/frequency of the sequencer
  • The given tempo refers to one full cycle
  • The function of the TEMPO knob depends on the SYNC switch setting
• SYNC Switch changes the TEMPO Knob scaling between:
  • ms (time in milliseconds)
  • Hz (frequency in Hz)
  • Note (tempo divisions based on current BPM)
• RETRIG INPUT
  • Retrigger/Restart the sequencer when a trigger is received
• PHASE OUTPUT
  • Output the current sequencer phase (Ramp Wave)
• FIRST OUTPUT
  • Output a trigger when the sequencer starts over

Sequencer Section

• STEPS Knob sets the number of points/triggers for each cycle
• OFFSET Knob moves the points/triggers around the cycle
• GATE OUTPUT outputs a gate signal each time an active point/trigger is hit
  • Set the length of the gate with the small gate length knob above the output
• PHASE OUTPUT outputs the current phase between two active points/triggers of the sequencer
• TRIGGER OUTPUT outputs a trigger every time an active point is hit
