This module has 8 inputs that are randomly assigned to 8 outputs. Every time the scramble button is pressed, or a trigger is received in the scramble trigger input, the connections between inputs and outputs are shuffled, so that each input is sent to one of the outputs. The transition is smoothed out so that there are no audible clicks when shuffling the inputs.
It is great for generative processes, and for introducing variation and controlled randomness to any patch.
