The sys.6 | divider is a simple sync divider with a probability to let triggers through to the module's output. It has a built-in trigger to gate converter. The gate times can be set in milliseconds.
Very useful for self-generative music.
The controls and their functions: from top to bottom:
- Slider (D): Sets the division.
- Slider (P(x)): Sets the probability in percentages to let the trigger through.
- Mode: Sets the mode for the divisions to whole, triplet or dotted.
- Sync.in: This is the jack that receives the 96ppqn sync.out from the i/o panel.
- Attenuator knob: With this knob you can set the length of the gate from 0.1 to 3.000 milliseconds. At 0-position divider outputs triggers only.
- Reset: Resets the module e.g. the division counter.
- Out: The output of the trigger/gate.
(!) When the gate time overlaps the newly generated gate signal, the signal will remain high.
