sys.α | chorus is a vintage-inspired chorus with independent Depth and Rate controls, CV modulation and a characterful analogue-style sound. The chorus brings warmth, movement and dimension to your modular sounds. Inspired by classic bucket-brigade delay (BBD) circuitry, it combines modulated delay, carefully shaped filtering and dynamic processing to create a rich, organic chorus effect. Two dedicated sliders provide independent control over Depth and Rate, allowing you to fine-tune the intensity and speed of the modulation. Engage Link to control both parameters together, or unlink them for independent adjustment and more precise sound shaping.

Controls and their functions:

• Depth: Controls the modulation depth, from subtle thickening to more pronounced pitch movement.
• Rate: Sets the modulation speed, from slow, gentle movement to faster, more animated chorus effects.
• Switch: Links the Depth and Rate sliders so they move together, or separates them for independent control. When Link is enabled, the Depth setting determines the shared value.
• Rate CV In: Accepts an external control voltage to modulate the chorus rate.
• Rate CV Int.: Attenuverts the incoming CV, controlling its modulation amount and polarity. Positive settings increase the rate with positive CV; negative settings reverse the modulation direction.
• Input: Audio input for the signal to be processed.
• Output: Mono audio output, combining the internally generated left and right chorus signals into a single output.
