sys.α | filter is a resonant low-pass filter designed to bring warmth, character and expressive filtering to your modular patches. Its resonant filter combines two cascaded filter stages to deliver a rich, rounded response, from subtle tonal shaping to pronounced resonance and squelchy filter sweeps. The dedicated resonance control lets you explore everything from smooth, mellow textures to more aggressive, cutting sounds. A four-position high-pass filter switch provides additional control over the low-frequency content, making it easy to tighten up bass-heavy signals or create thinner, more focused tones. The cutoff CV input, with its bipolar attenuverter, allows precise modulation of the filter frequency, making the module equally suited to hands-on sound design and dynamic, evolving patches.

Controls and their functions:

• Slider (C): Controls the low-pass filter cutoff frequency, from deep bass to bright, open tones.
• Slider (R): Adjusts the emphasis around the cutoff frequency, adding depth, bite and squelchy character.
• HPF Mode: Selects between three high-pass filter settings and Off, progressively reducing low-frequency content.
• Cutoff CV Int.: Attenuates or inverts the incoming cutoff CV for precise modulation of the filter frequency.
• Input: Audio input.
• Cutoff CV: Control voltage input for modulating the cutoff frequency. A positive CV raises the cutoff, while a negative CV lowers it, depending on the attenuverter setting.
• Output: Processed audio output.
