This is an LFO that allows you to set the rate value by tapping a button, or through a CV tap input. It can also display its rate in Hertz or beats per minute, using the switch on the right. This is useful for when you want to match the rate of modulation to other signals or to the BPM of your track, or for when you simply want to match the rate you hear in your head when making a patch.

The rate knob will automatically adjust to the tapped value (except when using the CV tap input, in which case it will be disabled), so that you can make further adjustments. There is also a x2 toggles that allows you to double the rate of the oscillator (this toggle will also be disabled when CV tap input is connected).

It also has other features as in other Benard LFO modules, such as a polarity switch, outputs for sine, ramp, triangle, saw, pulse and S&H triggered noise (with separate output level controls), CV control of rate, a reset button and CV input, and pulsewidth control and CV input for the pulse signal.

Notice that the Tap CV input is not capped to the range of the knob. This makes it possible to set the rate of the LFO to higher values than are possible with the rate knob by using CV. These high values will persist when the CV signal is disconnected, but the rate will jump back to the range of the CV knob when the latter is modified.

This module has been added to the Benard Mega Bundle Vol. 1.
