Widr is a mid-side-mixer that lets you manipulate the stereo width of a signal. Both parameters can be modulated.

Mid: Level of the mid signal

Side: Level of the side signal

Listen to the main synth line and the reverb on the drums in the sound demo. The sound gets wider as we get to the middle of the sound clip and then narrows down again.
