F_SYN ORIGINS is a bundle that contains only the modules that were available in the original Elektor Formant setup. So these were also the modules that I used myself in the hardware DIY semi modular synthesizer that I built back in 1977 and still own. The modules are: ADSR, COM, GLIDE, LFO, NOISE, RFM, VCA, VCF and VCO. From a modular synthesis point of view, it might even be better to be constrained and having to be creative about what you can or can not create sound wise.. Apart from that the price point of this small entry level bundle might be more interesting to you.
