6 Gate

6 Gate is exactly what it sounds like: six gated monophonic channels. The gates are controlled either manually via the channel Active buttons and the All/None button, or automatically via the six CV inputs, which can be scaled between -200% and 200%. When a CV is present on a channel, the channel is gated on whenever the CV is above the truth level, and off otherwise. In addition, if the Normed button is toggled on, the Channel 1 CV is sent to all six channels in lieu of whatever channel CVs would ordinarily be sent, although the attenuverters for each channel are still applied.

Ordinarily, changes in on/off state are declicked to help prevent the introduction of spurious harmonics that will be heard as pops and clicks. However, for certain CV signals it may be preferable to pass the signal as-is; the Declick button provides this capability.

6 Gate is capable of accepting a BLink input from a Cyberwerks Boolean Truth module, as well, allowing the truth threshold to be set to values other than the system standard 2.5 Volts. See the Boolean Truth documentation for a fuller description of the capabilities.

The help you're currently reading is always available within the module by clicking on the Cyberwerks name at the bottom of the module; it can also be reached by pressing Ctrl-H (Windows) or Cmd-F1 (Macintosh) when the module is selected.
