The MM-982 Voltage Controlled Modifier is a combination voltage-controlled 24db Ladder Low Pass Filter with a voltage-controlled amplifier inspired by the PPG 303 VCM.

VCF Section

Regeneration - Resonance Control. Higher value gives you a more pronounced resonant peak at the cut-off frequency

Cutoff Frequency - The cutoff Frequency control, the lower the value, the more the high-frequency content of the input is removed.

CV1 Atten. - Control how much the cutoff frequency is modulated by the CV1 input.

CV1 Input - Input to control the cutoff frequency. Attenuated by the CV1 Atten. control.

CV2 Input - 1v/Oct input to control the cutoff frequency. Set the Regeneration to max, and plug a sequencer into this input, and you can play the filter like an oscillator.

In - Signal Input

Output - Signal output. If you wish to use the VCA section as well, you don't need to connect it to the VCA In as the signal is already passed through.

VCA Section

Control Mode - Choose between Linear or Exponential Mode for the gain response.

Gain - Controls VCA gain. If you want to control the VCA with a control signal (i.e. and Envelope Generator) set this to 0.

CV 1 Atten. - Controls attenuation of the CV1 control signal.

CV 1 - Input to control the gain level.

CV 2 - Input to control the gain level.

In - VCA Input

Out - VCA Output.
