Neon Hologram Module User Manual:

  • DRIFT Control: This control adjusts the amount of frequency drift in the chorus effect. Turning it clockwise increases the drift, giving the sound a more warbling and unstable character. Turning it counterclockwise decreases the drift, resulting in a more stable and predictable sound.

  • FORCE Control: The Force control adjusts the intensity of the chorus effect. Turning it clockwise increases the intensity, making the effect more pronounced. Turning it counterclockwise decreases the intensity, resulting in a subtler effect.

  • SPEED Control: This control adjusts the rate at which the chorus effect cycles. Turning it clockwise increases the speed, making the effect more fast-paced. Turning it counterclockwise decreases the speed, resulting in a slower and more relaxed effect.

  • HYPERDRIVE Control: The Hyperdrive switch forces the speed into audio-rate, adding a crunchy and aggressive character to the sound through the magic of phase distortion.

  • SPEED CV: exponential CV for SPEED. Use pitch CV to scale the lfo rate with pitch.

  • FLUX Control: This control adjusts the amount of random fluctuations in the chorus effect. Turning it clockwise increases the fluctuations, making the effect more unpredictable and chaotic. Turning it counterclockwise decreases the fluctuations, resulting in a more consistent and controlled effect.

  • LOFI Control: The Lofi control adjusts the level of stereo noise, low-pass filtering and saturation in the effect. Turning it clockwise increases the stereo noise and saturation while decreasing the low-pass frequency, giving the sound a lo-fi character. Turning it counterclockwise decreases the stereo noise and saturation while increasing the low-pass frequency, resulting in a higher-quality sound.

  • ABERRATION Control: The Aberration control adjusts the separation of the delay lines in the effect much like chromatic aberration separates the color components in glitched images. Turning it clockwise increases the separation, making the effect more blurry and unstable. Turning it counterclockwise decreases the separation, resulting in a more focused and stable effect.

  • FEEDBACK Control: This control adjusts the amount of feedback in the effect. Turning it clockwise increases the positive feedback while turning it counterclockwise increases the negative feedback of the output back into the input, making the effect more resonant and sustaining. In the middle the feedback is off.

  • WET Control: The Wet control adjusts the balance between the dry (unprocessed) and wet (processed) signals. Turning it clockwise increases the wet signal, making the effect more prominent. Turning it counterclockwise decreases the wet signal, resulting in a more subtle effect.
