MIDI Monitor — Precision Tools for Power Users
Designed for developers, producers, and MIDI enthusiasts who need more than just raw message dumps, this MIDI Monitor redefines serious MIDI analysis. You can capture every MIDI message on your system and from your Voltage Modular patches, giving you full control over what you see—and what you don’t.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Real-time capture of all MIDI
Capture both external and internal MIDI traffic within Voltage Modular.
Benefit: See exactly what your patch is receiving and sending with zero guesswork. -
Total MIDI filtering
Filter by channel, message type, note/CC ranges, and SysEx.
Benefit: Instantly mute noisy controllers or narrow in on the events that matter. -
Log suppression:
Cut down on the number of repeatable messages to narrow down the result set.
Benefit: Essential for MPE users who other wise will have to scroll a log for meaningful messages. -
Suppression log of filtered messages.
Keep individual running totals of every message blocked.
Benefit: Perfect for debugging complex setups. -
Reason Logging (Reason users only)
One-click decoding of SysEx messages from PoohBear's Reason Codec logging system.
Benefit: No more complicated setups—logs appear instantly in readable form.
