When two audio sources are inputted, the output contains only the sum and difference frequencies of the two signals, while removing common frequencies. The audio result is useful for creating sounds with inharmonic frequency content, which is useful for synthesizing bell and metallic sounds. The Rackmode Ring Modulator precisely emulates the rare Bode frequency shifter and offers a totally unique way to process audio signals. Rackmode Ring Modulator includes an audio oscillator with range controls and multiple waveforms. Its pitch can also be "played" using its 1V/oct CV in jack.

This module may be demoed with the full Rackmode Module Collection demo for up to seven days. This demo will play white noise periodically, but is otherwise unlimited.
