It’s a metronome that outputs a clock trigger for syncing sequencers, the BPM Follower, BPM SEQ, and so on. It can detect the system tempo or it can be set with a slider, and in addition to outputting pulses on the beat, it also offers triplet and eighth subdivisions and half notes too. It’s excellent for running sequencers and LFOs at related speeds that cycle in and out of phase, for resetting LFOs to tempo, or for dialing specific tempos into devices that otherwise resist. Or, just wire it up to a drum for a click track.
