sys.14 | luna is a versatile low-frequency oscillator with a variable up-tri-down waveshape, adjustable throught cv (skew) and free or synchronized rate modes. It is designed for creating smooth, rhythmic and evolving modulation signals for your patches.
The built-in reset input allows you to restart the LFO cycle at any time, making LUNA especially useful for synchronized modulation, rhythmic patterns and self-generative music.
The controls and their functions: from top to bottom:
- Top-knob (rate): Sets the LFO frequency. The available modes provide free-running (0.02Hz to 10.0Hz) or synchronized rate settings.
- Waveform-knob: Adjusts the balance between the rising and falling phases of the waveform. Create a rising ramp, triangle or falling ramp. From saw down, to triangle to saw up.
- Mode-switch: sets the LFO to run free or BPM-synced.
- Reset: Resets the LFO cycle to its starting phase.
- Wave (cv): External CV input for dynamic control over the waveshape.
- Out: The bipolar LFO output, ranging from -5 V to +5 V.
