Voltage-Controlled Ratchet

A voltage-controlled ratcheting module that allows a simple CV in to set the number of beats that the ratchet will use for the gate in, allowing up to 16 beats in a single beat. The input CV can be set using a range of voltages, 1V/step or 0.1V/step.

The module has an internal clock that can be driven or synchronised with external clocks (BPM and CV-based), with a trigger to start the ratchet. Setting the mode to Sync will use the external clock as both the trigger and the clock sync source, making its use with sequencers straight-forward.

Advanced options include multiple ways to set or sense the gate width, optional time-based gate width settings, optional pass-through for single step gates, an Enable gate/trigger input for manual use and settings to use the sync'd gate input with steady but gated inputs such as from sequencers which can start and stop the input.
