The Zeit Voltage-Controlled Delay is a digital delay with times up to 2500ms. Delay time can be modulated by an external control voltage source.
There are three ranges of CV modulation available:
- Low - 1 volt shifts the delay length by 10 samples.
- High - 1 volt shifts the delay length by 10 milliseconds.
- Full - 1 volt shifts the delay length by 250 milliseconds.
All of the traditional modulated delay effects can be created, such as chorus and flanging. However, this is only scratching the surface of the possibilities - the 'helper' modules take it into vastly more interesting areas like pitch-shifting, backwards playback, tuned comb filtering and Karplus-Strong string model simulation.
