It’s a mix between a sample and hold, echo delay and a sort of arpeggiator, so in basic mode you play a few notes on your keyboard and it will store the CV data (note data) and then repeat it forever, the repeat rate can be changed along with the Gate Output length.
1) Pulse Rate; This sets the speed of the pulse for the Gate Output. Speeds can be 1/128th, 1/64th, 1/32th, 1/16th, 1/8th, ¼, ½, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 notes of the current BPM.

1b) Dotted and Triplet options, This effects the pulse that has been set above. A triplet clock will pulse three times for every two regular pulses, while a dotted-note clock will pulse twice for every three regular pulses.

1c) Swinger, these effect the where the pulse falls on the 2nd and or 4th recurring pulses, the pulse can be pulled or pushed. Note: Build #42, Added Odd button so now the swing works on 1st and 3rd pulse. see Step 10

2) Gate Length, this is sets the length as a percentage of the Pulse from 0.01% to 100%, note at 100% the Gate Output signal will never drop (close).

3) Override, this input overrides the Swing, Pulse and Gate Length, by providing your own Pulse\Gate (a signal above +2.5v) you have full control of the Pulse and Gate Length, this will allow for irregular pulses and variable gate lengths.

4) Max, The real maximum is 999 steps however by setting a lower maximum when you add more and more steps you can get it loop\overwrite existing steps earlier. E.g. you set the Max to be 16 steps, when you play the 17th step it will loop around and you will overwrite what was stored at the 1st step. There are also digit displays to show the current input step (Store) and the current output step(Forward).

5) Clear All, clears all step data.

6) Step Mode
A) Live (was One Shot), a signal is received and sent out once. If using a slow pulse rate this allows you to play ahead of time. As you play the new steps are appended until you reach the Max (999 steps) then it will loop around (round robin) back to step one and new notes will now overwrite the existing data up to the point of the currently playing note, at this point any new data will overwrite it self until the "playing" head\step moves forward. If the "Playing" head\step catches up with the "Edit" head\step that means there is not any more data to process and they are both reset to zero.
B) New Option "Play Once", this will play through the buffer to the end and then stop, you can replay by selecting "Restart" or "On"
C) Repeat, Keeps repeating the data that has been added in a loop. Say you play 4 notes then play another 4 note later on, those new 4 notes will append to the end of the existing notes("Max" size will have an effect here). As you play the new steps are appended until you reach the Max then it’s looped around (round robin) back to step one and new notes are now overwriting the existing data, in this mode you can just keep adding data not matter where the "Playing" head/step is so you could even overwrite data that has not been played.

7) Now and Then.
A) Then, this is default, when a new step in entered it will wait for the next pulse to sound.
B) Now, when a new step is entered if no steps are currently playing it starts a new pulse from the moment you enter the data, if you enter more notes while that note is playing their timing will be taken from that.

8) a) Restart, Use this to sync the pulse to other devices or even your DAW.
b) Odd, Start the restart from the 2nd pulse, e.g. starting 1 (odd) on pulse 2.
c) When the link is enabled between Restart and Out, if Out is off (disabled) then it will be automatically turned on with a Reset.
d) Freeze, Freezes the device totally.
e) On/Off, Turns off the output however the pulse still runs internally, this is to help keep things in time.
f) Tog./Mom. (Toggle or Momentary), Set's the Freeze and On/Off into Toggle or Momentary mode, Toggle, you need to send 2 signals to switch it on and off. Momentary, high = on, low = off.

9) Trig Mode, there are 3 trig modes.
A) Bottom position, default, This acts like a sample and hold, it needs a trigger\gate to accept the CV input and another new gate to accept more data etc.
B) Middle position, while the Gate is held open it will accept all CV changes.
C) Top position, it will accept all CV changes.
Note while in the Top or Middle position this is really for slow changing CV data, the bottom position is designed to sample fast moving data.

10) CV and Gate, Input and output jacks.

11) "Auto" and "In" options on the Input ports.
Auto: You don't have to wire any cables up, will use the I/O Panels Pitch and Gate ports, it will also override any input cables.
In: turns on or off any cables that are connected the CV and Gate input ports.

12) Out button, stops output from the OutPut jacks, note the device still runs.

13) REASON, this converts the voltage of pitch data (-3v + 7.5833) to a new range ready to sent out of an Audio output into for example another DAW like Reason that can use this data as CV note data for its instruments.

14) Darkmode: double click the Bear but not too hard it might make him grumpy..

Other:
You can use the device like any clock device, just connect the "Gate" out and make sure Step Mode is in "Repeat Mode", as soon as you connect the CV output port the device needs data to work.

Now Removed:
6) Replace Mode,
A) In, The default is In, as you play the new steps are appended until you reach the Max then it’s looped around (round robin) back to step one and new notes are now overwriting the existing data. There is also a counter to show you what the current step the In is on.
B) Out, the counter is always moving to the Output step, if you play a new note the next step in overwritten with this new value except if it happens to be on the last step and the maximum has not been reached, then in that case it’s appended.

7) Adv, When Replace Mode is In, it advances the input step ahead one place.

Build #59 added Dotted and Triplet options to the internal timings.

Build #58 added 2 new options both based around the input ports, "Auto" and "In".

Build #57 bug fix: When only in Live mode, using the "Then" option with Swing is set and the buffer is emptied on an odd step, the timing can go off.

Build #56 Label name change "One Shot" is now called "Live" New Option "Play Once", this will play through the buffer to the end and then stop, you can replay by selecting Restart or On

Build #52/55 Updated One Shot mode, before once you hit max limit that was it, now it round robins as CV data is removed from the Queue.
Updated output cabling Logic, if you just add a "Gate" out without any other data added, the device acts like a clock.
Removed options "Advance" and "Replace Mode"

Build #49-51, Bug fix, If the "Out" was off and your restarted VM and either "On/Off" or "Freeze" port was wired up (must be only one of them to see the bug, if both were wire then you would not see the bug) then on restart the "Out" would turn on. Also if the "Out" was turned off the CV out was zero'ed, it now keeps the signal to the last know value. added darkmode.

Build #46-48, Added On\Off input port (can be a Trigger or Gate), will enable or disable the OUT button. see new Tog. Mom. switch for more options.

Freeze input port to control pausing\freezing of the device (uses a Trigger or Gate), it stops the internal clock as well as the output (turns off the OUT button). see new Tog. Mom. switch for more options.

Added switch Tog. Mom. (Toggle or Momentary),

Tog (toggle) mode you can send a Trigger or Gate to either the On/Off or Freeze input to latch (turn on) the setting, the next Trigger\Gate will unlatch (turn off) the option.

Mom. (Momentary) mode a high signal will enable (turn on) and a low signal will disable (turn off)

Build #43-45, Fixed timing issues.

Build #42, Added Odd button so now the swing effectively works on 1st and 3rd pulse.

Added "Link" Reset to "Out" button, so if you turn the "Out" off, reset will automatically enable it again if the "Link" is enabled.

Build #41, Public Release
